My three year old nephew is very interested in pirates, so I'm searching out book options for his Christmas gift. Here's what I've found at Amazon that looks promising.The thing about pirates is that I want to keep it age appropriate for a 3 year old. There is plenty of time to get into the more suspenseful adventures later.

My grandmother got 'how i became a pirate' for my son when he turned 4, and we love it. :)
Also, there is a 'sequel' called 'Pirates don't change Diapers' (or something like that. :)
i think a 3 year old who is into Pirates will love them. :)

Hi! I found your blog through the November carnival and subscribed to it. How fun!! Are you familiar with Barefoot Books? They have a pirate anthology, and also a fantastic book called Portside Pirates, with a singalong CD. It's perfect for a 3-year-old -- my nephew is getting a copy for Christmas!
